I'm an ex-Copy Director with 42 years' experience behind me. I’ve retired now, but decided to leave my website as it is for the moment – even though the last time I added any work was way back in 2016!

Soon, I may add some of the work I did at my last job at Torpedo. Just because I’m quite proud of it.

Anyway, just in case you haven’t already clicked away from this page, here’s a potted history…

I started to build my career with Lego in the eighties, and in the years that followed I did a lot of beer. Carlsberg, Beck's, Molson, San Miguel, Staropramen to name but a few. Sensibly, I made sure there was lots of food with the drink. Princes Buitoni, Sun Valley Chicken, Cadbury. In between, I did loads of other stuff, too. British Telecom, Colgate Palmolive, Heathrow Airport, that sort of thing. Lots of financial ads – for Jupiter, Fidelity, BLME, Equiniti. There's been Mazda, Kia and Saab cars, and more recently Saab Defence & Security, too. In my final role as Copy Director, I worked for Adobe, Autodesk, Panasonic, and Isuzu Trucks, among others.

Some of the work I created over the years, people liked enough to award the odd bit of it. There was Gold at BTAA, Creative Circle and The One Show, and Silver at Campaign Press. I’ve even graced a couple of pages in D&AD annuals.

But that was all in the past. Sorry I can’t help you with your future projects.
